Sweden is a land of many styles and talents which during the last couple of years has set it's mark on the world.
Unfortunately, if you ask a person nowadays about their knowledge of Swedish design the answer will probably be IKEA and H&M.
It's about time to show off the creativity of the new generation of designers and creative talents.
"From Sweden with Love" will take place in November at the trendy restaurant Gente de Pasta located in El Born. The show will offer an insight to modern art and design made by young Swedish photographers, graphic designers and fashion designers with a baggage full of important clients and successful projects.
The message of this exposition, one of the first of its kind in Spain is clear: to make known the quality of creativity in Sweden, have fun, and at the same time enjoy the Nordic visual culture.
The exposition will contain works from Albin Holmqvist whose work can be seen on MTV and has been nominated for international awards such as Adobe Design Achievement awards. Thomas Niemi, the creator of the famous clothing brand "Happy People", Isak Sandling whose pictures have been published in various underground culture magazines, and other talents of graphic design, fashion and illustration, will be at the centre of this show.
The premiere night will be accompanied with music from Swedish DJ Delirious.
This is a meeting with Swedish visual culture you can't afford to miss!
